EMT Continuing Education Units
All Extrication.Com programs carry equal emergency medical technician credit hours for length of the programs. This is by approval from MA Department of Health Office of Emergency Medical Services for all emergency medical technician level including paramedic.

After looking up your account on the DPH OEMS website and find that you have not yet received credit, the following are the most common reasons given by the OEMS for not issuing credit to a student:
There are a number of reasons why a course you attended may not be listed on your printout:
- OEMS course roster arrived after printouts were produced.
- OEMS Course roster has not been submitted to OEMS by the instructor (Extrication.Com files within one week of the course finish date).
- Student failed to sign a roster, therefore no credit can be given.
- Student failed to provide their EMT number and/or name is unreadable on the roster.
- Student listed the incorrect EMT number on the roster.
- Course verification; completion certificate, grade report or other proof of completion not received by OEMS.
If your CEUs for one of your Extrication.Com courses has not been posted on the MA DPH OEMS website after a reasonable time you should do the following:
- First contact Ron Shaw by phone or email and include the location and date of the program program in question and your contact information where you can be reached.
- Or, you may file a discrepancy report form to OEMS (use online Discrepancy Form). You then e-mail oemscce@state.ma.us and within 4 weeks will receive a reply.
In each of our programs students are instructed to make sure they fill out the OEMS forms properly in order to receive credit. If you fail to properly register you will not receive credit and there will be a delay in correcting the discrepancy.
