On one of the Warner Bros back stage lots WBFD Engine Company 18 worked with Ron Shaw learning the Modified Dash Roll. WBFD members were able to execute the MDR in under 6-minutes after one demonstration.


Setting up for a practical evolution with WBFD Company 18, in the background you may recognize some of the prop buildings that have been used in WB movies in the past.


Here Engine 18 company member displaces the dash using the Modified Dash Roll.

The MDR can be performed on either or both sides of the vehicle. While not necessary, the doors can be removed as done here.

Extrication.Com donated its time to teach the members of WBFD Engine 18. Both duty and reserve members participated in the training.
